Classical trained pianist and keyboardist, Fabio Anile has played in many bands (Fractal Sextet, enoLogica, Domino and
others) and worked in many different musical contexts, developing a distinctive sound.
His music can be defined as classical, minimal, ambient, experimental and it ranges from atmospheric film style soundtracks to minimalism and rock music.

Another stellar release from this long-lived ensemble. Though the King Crimson influence is obvious & that comparison unavoidable, these guys have made many great recordings that can't be categorized as 'mere copies'. The perfect balance of aggressive riffing and serene soundscapes.

On the first track, the Kronos Quartet plays a composition Stephan Thelen wrote for it. Kronos is and for a long time has been my favorite for contemporary art music. It is very selective about what it chooses to perform, and everything it chooses to perform is well worth listening to. The other three tracks are also superb Thelen compositions, here performed superbly by the Al Pari Quartet.

As time has wore on, I've found I come back to this album often. The soundscapes, the mood, everything fits just right. Love the Tranceportation Vol's but this maintains its newness. Can't recommend it enough.
